Not only is it my favorite pie. It was my favorite thing to watch/help my mom make. Peeling the sweet potatoes, boiling, mashing, mixing cream, butter, vanilla, nutmeg til the filling is silky smooth. Awaiting the timer to go off, knowing I get the first piece.
